Home stretch
This NaBloPoMo crap is almost done! I post frequently but this daily requirement has been a bit of a thorn in my side.
I started this blog a little more than 18 months ago. At the time, I felt a little silly. I couldn’t imagine who would care what I had to say. I had no idea how cathartic writing to my stranger friends could be. I didn’t realize the kind of relationships that could be developed in this forum. But I’ve reached a point where it is part of who I am – I am a blogger (which makes me feel like I should have “GEEK” tattooed on my forehead). There are occasions when something happens that I don’t feel like I can share with the whole world wide web and the longer I blog, the stranger it feels when that happens. I look forward to the cheering or support from my blog peeps. I point this out because I’ve been keeping a big old secret for about a week now. It has taken a lot of will power to keep this secret from all of you. Tomorrow I should finally be able to discuss this piece of news. We will either celebrate a little or you can all mop me up because I’ll be a big old puddle on the floor.
Blame NaBloPoMo for the suspense…if it wasn’t for my daily posting requirement, I wouldn’t have said anything until tomorrow. But I have nothing else for you today so you get a little cliffhanger. Tune in tomorrow afternoon!

Being a blogger has become part of who I am too. I often find myself taking a cute picture and the first thing that comes to mind is to see if it came out good to put on the blog. Yep, that’s a geek.

ooohhh, I don’t know you but I feel the same about my blogging world, it is GREAT. It is like having friends that really can’t talk back to ya, or interject their opinions except in comments that I can either delete or read ;).

What you may not know is that you were the 3rd blog I ever came across when beginning our adoption process and deciding to jump into the blog world. What you need to know is that I, too, am a blogger and have come to depend on a daily check in at your site with my morning coffee. What you should know is that when you tell the truth and share you emotions, it gives the rest of us strength and inspiration to do the same. Now, this! Now… a tease?!?! Well, I never! Ha, ha!!!!
