Dr. Mom

December7

My momma is defending her PhD dissertation today. How cool is it that I have a wicked smart mom? Good luck Momma!

In Sabrina news, she is walking like a champ now. She still prefers to crawl for speed but she will get up and walk across the room when the mood strikes.

She loves my fuzzy slippers – she is always petting them.

Reading her book

And her new favorite toy – an empty kleenex box. She stuffs all sorts of little toys and a random shoe inside and carries it around every where. We are thinking of upgrading and giving her a shoe box for Christmas.

Yesterday was the anniversary of the day we first met Sabrina in Guatemala.  I can’t believe that first visit trip was a year ago and that it was only a year ago.  What a difference a year makes.

    What a beautiful post.

My daughter use to love an old purse. She would put things in, take things out, carry it around like her momma and start all over again. It really doesn’t take all those million dollar toys to entertain them at that young age….NOW ? ha. She would laugh me to my grave if I got her a box or old purse 😉

Sabrina is beautiful, enjoy her, though I am sure I don’t have to tell you that.

I cannot believe our trip was a year ago too! It seems like just yesterday we all stood in front of the Westin tree for pictures with our little babies. I was just looking at those this morning thinking of how things sure have changed! It is amazing how time passes so quickly. Sabrina is beautiful as always!

And Sabrina’s hair is getting long! Wow!

Yes, it has been a year since our first trip! Our one year is tomorrow! Where has the time gone? Look how big she is! She looks like a big girl now.

I’d re-think the shoe box. It might be too much for a child her age:>)!

I agree, Sabrina is just the cutest… Even the kleenex box is cute… how can you stand all that cuteness in one place?

Happy One Year… yes, it is just amazing how quickly time flies with our babies!

Yay for your mama! I hope everything goes well for her!

Isn’t it funny how you can spend a ton of money on toys for kids and their favorites turn out to be boxes? : )

Your mom is my inspiration today!!!! Congrats to her. I totally know what she’s been through (or should I say it the other way around, as I have five more months until I get the relief she’ll have today)? Good for her!!!

Our one year anniv of our visit trip is coming up. It’s amazing how much can change in a year. Our little ones love simple things too, like empty water bottles and tin pans.
