Retired
Last week it was the exesaucer, this week the high chair has been retired. Sabrina is now sitting full time in her booster seat. I’m not completely thrilled simply because it means her sticky, slimy, icky hands are now all over my dining room table chair instead of her high chair but I think she was ready for the move. She had been bracing her hands on the arms of her high chair and trying to stand up and rocking the chair really hard to the point I was concerned she might flip it.

And more good news from yesterday – I won a giveaway from Ms. Fussypants! I’m so excited to get one of her great photo necklaces! She is way more talented with the jewelry design than I am. I decided to use my favorite photo from my fostering days in the necklace:
~blushes~ Aw Shucks! Thank you, my friend!
that is such a BEAUTIFUL picture!!! congrats on winning!
sabrina is such a happy and beautiful girl!
I loooove that photo!! So precious!!
Congrats on selling the home!
That pic is beautiful!!!!
oh, I love the photo too.
The booster seat carnage under the seat is FOUUUUUL. Put a towel under there…then you can just wash that when there is yuck on it.
I am holding off on the booster seat switch due to the thought of the foulness on my chairs. I am quite sure we had the cure to a horrible illness or two growing under Marissa’s booster seat. ICK.
I love that picture of you together!! Perfect!!
She is growing up, Mom………..
Oh, and WOW has her hair grown since your time in Guatemala!!!!!!
A word of caution about booster seats: kids can lift up their feet and push against a table or counter and flip the chair backwards – Mindy did it when she was only 16 months old. Luckily, she wasn’t hurt. We just made sure that the chair wasn’t near a table, etc. after that.
Happy to hear you won and I hope you post a photo of that piece of jewelry with that beautiful picture of you two. That’s great you sold the house but I’m sorry to hear about the retirement of the excersaucer and the highchair. It’s a sad thing. I hate to retire some of Serenas shoes and clothes if their my favorites. Don’t put those things to deep in storage, you will be needing them soon enough!
