Happy St. Patrick’s Day
March17
My husband insists we should wear orange instead of green…but I didn’t grow up in an area that differentiated the catholic/protestant irish roots by color on St. Patrick’s Day. I had never heard of such a thing until I married Steve…so I stick to green. Sabrina allowed the headband to say on her head for almost 15 minutes – that must be a record of some sort!
She is such a cuttie…
Happy St. Pat Day to you too!~
As for Orange… Never heard of that…

Coming from a family that is split 50/50 catholic and protestant, YES, I know very well about the orange and green crap.
I wore pink today.
Okay how did you get Sabrina to pose like that? She looks absolutely adorable! I wish Gabbie would stop for a second or two and smile at the camera!
Also, I have never heard of the orange thing either! I went green today and so did Gabbie.
I also have never heard of the orange thing. I must need to get out more. 🙂
Well, there, this blog is now very educational. I have never heard of the orange thing either!! You learn something new every day.
The last pic of Sabrina is one of my all time favorites. What a little cutie!! I am ashamed to say that I forgot to put green on Reese when I got him dressed, and once dressed we don’t mess with it, so he skipped it this year!! Bad Mommy!!
She is very cute in green!

Hi,
Orange is worn by Irish protestants, green by Irish catholics. I once wore orange to middle school not really realizing the hatred the protestants and catholics used to have (maybe they still do) for each other. A lunch lady wearing green nearly beat me up. No really, she became very heated when I explained I was protestant and Irish so I was wearing orange. The original protestants in Ireland were the Scottish who had been removed from Scotland in the 17th c. King James of England offered some of the border-guards who were causing problems to the English in Scotland a deal where they got to live if they got out of Scotland, became protestant and moved to Ireland. In the meantime the Irish in Dublin got kicked out of their homes so these Scottish people could take over their homes.
I suspect this is some of the animosity the Catholics and Protestants of Ireland have for each other.
That’s what I know about the orange and green thing, since people were curious, just thought I’d share.
She is one cute little leprechaun! I think our little beauties look awesome in green!
Oh my gosh, oh my gosh!! Some of the CUTEST Sabrina pics ever, I think!! I adore these pics…love the outfit!! You know, I blog hop nearly everyday and I adore that so many of the blogs that I visit feature kids that are pretty much the same age as Emma…it would be so cool to have a great big play date with all of our wee ones together…I would just love that!! Have a great week! God bless.
HAPPY BELATED ST. PATRICK’S DAY! 🙂
Michelle, I didn’t want to ask you here but I don’t have anyone’s email, did the board move? I totally cannot find it. I don’t know if it just changed & I’m too duh on the site to find it (lol) or if it moved. If you know & don’t mind, could you please email me the new address or how to get it on the old sit if it’s not too much trouble? I really want to keep up with w/ what’s going in w/ everyone. My address is mrsnewlywed2006@yahoo.com .Thanks a lot!! :o)
She looks so cute—-and just like the little lady she is, yes?
🙂
She looks so cute! Damn, I forgot to take pictures of Myah in her outfit….I’m a bad mom.
Too cute! I wish I could get my kids to stop and smile for the camera. Lilly always closes her eyes and Emerson always tries to grab the camera. Luke is about the only one who I can get a good pic of and that’s just cause he’s not moving that fast yet.
How cute!!!

OMG! She has gotten so big since the last time we saw you guys! We need to make plans to get together soon. Maybe we can take the girls to the zoo one day or something. I am not sure if you are on bed rest or what. Also, I have some maternity clothes that I will never wear again if you need them.
