Ignorance is bliss?

March27

I’ve discovered ignorance is only blissful when it is your ignorance…not when you are dealing with the ignorance of others.

I spent 10 minutes on the phone this morning trying to explain to our new property management company representative why I would not be changing the utilities to our name tomorrow when we sign our lease. Our lease doesn’t begin for a little over 2 weeks. I’m not paying for 2 weeks of utilities on a property I am not responsible for or living in. She was very confused. Of course, she was also confused by the fact that we wanted to sign the lease tomorrow but didn’t want the lease to begin for 2 weeks. I’m guessing that she is also flummoxed by the whole push/pull dilemma when opening a door.

Sabrina woke me up about 45 minutes earlier than normal this morning (and no, I won’t tell you what time that was because there are those of you getting up while it is dark). She was laughing and playing in her crib. I dragged myself out of bed and jumped in the shower. I threw on some clothes and went to get Sabrina. What did I find? She had fallen back to sleep. Little shit.

What – shower – I’m confused. (written by Kim who is sitting on the couch at 12:35 still in her pajamas) 🙂

Hmm enjoy being able to shower before getting her up. I remember being able to do that with Lilly and Emerson. Since Lucas has come along I haven’t been able to do that. Saddly babies just aren’t as patient.

I bet she has problems walking without falling down too.

The other day, Emily took a spontaneous completely unsolicited nap. She was playing in her room watching a Little Einsteins DVD. Then I realized, I had not heard anything for an alarming amount of time (does anybody else recognize the hyprocrisy in this – sometimes all I want is for her to go and play and give me five minutes to finish a thought, go to the bathroom, take a shot from the flask, whatever; but when she does I’m convinced she is up to no good and then must seek her out, all the while imagining the worst as I slowly approach the room that she is in) but I digress. So I go to check on my oddly quiet little tyke and she was curled up on the floor with her new stuffed Easter Bunny and was sound asleep. I couldn’t believe it!!! This is the same child that I have actually seen nodding off on the couch, startle herself awake and then get off of the couch and run around the coffee table in order to wake herself. It lasted for 20 wonderful minutes.

You are wise not to reveal the actual time. I would have gotten all over your ass if it was any later than 6:00.

What do you mean you don’t want to pay to live in a place you aren’t living in? Why not? 😉

Oh I so laughed at the sleeping part! We laugh all the time because our older daughter has what we call her own special “crib parties”, “no one else allowed”!!!! Then she falls on back to sleep, LOVE it! Now to get the little one on that schedule, hahahaha

Is it ignorance, or just plain stupity???? I hate it when people are that thick headed!!!

Ok, I love it!! Little shit. Reese gets called that often here. Oh, crib parties are the best. He used to do that, but now if he makes a noise, he is up, and you should have known he was going to wake up and been ready for him. He is a true man–instant gratification!!!
