Catch up
Our DSL is finally up and running. If we ever figure out which unsuspecting kind neighbor “lent” us his DSL for a couple of days, we will first teach him how to secure his signal and then buy him either a beer or cupcake depending on preference.
We are still settling in. The last of our things will be moved this weekend. The thought of adding more stuff makes me a little crazy but I am excited to get our grill out of storage. Just looking at the boxes and trying to decide where the things inside should go makes me tired.
In news of the knocked up – I’ve reached the water retention stage. If I don’t stop and put my feet up for a few minutes every couple of hours, I end up with cankles by the end of the night. I’m also losing the ability to bend at the waist (waist – bahaha – like I have one anymore). I can still bend for short periods but if I do it for too long either the baby gets angry and starts kicking me or I start seeing black spots dancing in front of my eyes from lack of oxygen. My new (non-crazy) doc did cartwheels today over my lab results from last week (A1C = 4.9!).
I’ve just discovered my favorite ice cream place (Bruster’s) has a store only 15 miles from our house! Previously, the closest one (per the web) was over 2 hours away. We made a trip tonight…they didn’t have any of my favorite flavors (they make their ice cream daily and the flavors change as a result) but was still very yummy. Sabrina also enjoyed a tot cone of chocolate which ended up all over her and daddy.
Now some photos from the past week:
Sabrina can’t resist opening and closing doors all day long:
She is trying to obey the rule about staying off the steps but can’t stand not knowing what is happening up there:
Playing at the park:
Baby girl, who sadly still doesn’t have a name, first one is looking forward, second one is her profile (can you believe that with all of the my ultrasounds with Doc Crazy, these are the first photos I’ve gotten since December?):
Ultrasound pics usually look like aliens to me but several people asked and I aim to please.
What a beautiful baby girl you have. Now, she just needs a name to go with that beauty.
WOW! Sabrina is really growing up. She has such a big girl look.
Good luck with more moving.
Yeah, what is it with doors?? Miss S is as cute as ever – and so is BG#2!!
Glad you are getting settled! Maybe you should do a “name that baby” post, who knows what you would come up with.
How DO you secure your signal? I’m thinking I may be one of those unsuspecting people in my neck of the woods in PA. Can you please enlighten me so I don’t feel so stupid? Thanks!
Krista
She is beautiful!!! So cute with the bunny ears 🙂
Glad all is going well:)
Both your girls are too darn cute:)
Loved seeing all the pics. Great to hear the good news. Sent you an email – hope it got through junk mail censors.
I love the Sabrina pics!!! Glad to hear things are going well!
Sabrina is sooo sweet! Sonja is too doing door duty – all day long! Something about a swingin’ door!! 🙂 I can’t believe it has taken since Dec. to get baby pics – that’s insane!! Glad you switched!!
I can NOT believe crazy doc didn’t at LEAST give you pictures. How unreal is that. THANK goodness you changed from her, love the pictures!
Sabrina just keeps getting cuter.
Thanks for the U/S pics. They are just awesome.
I’m probably “lending” my signal to half my neighbors because I don’t know how to secure it, either…
I think baby girl is GORGEOUS!
thanks for sharing her beauty with us:)
I am so glad you posted the us pics. Love them. Is the test you were talking about your gestational diabetes test?
I love those little overall shorties! Actually, I love all overalls (short or long)… 🙂
I think the u/s all look the same too, but they are cool in person to see the little one moving around.
