Officially ready
July24
Yesterday, thanks to Ashley’s reminder, I waddled off to a consignment sale. I found an infant seat (just afraid the Britax Marathon will be too big for her for the first couple of months) and a few other items so now my list of must-haves is officially complete. I even made it through a trip to the grocery store after consignment shopping and cooked dinner. I felt quite accomplished. I had wicked contractions all night reminding me why I’ve been such a home body but I only whined a little.
This afternoon Sabrina and I are off to see my doctor. That is 2 days in a row we are out and about – exciting stuff.
Now I just need to pack a hospital bag…
Come on BABY TESSA…..we’re ready to see you!!! Hang in there Michelle!!! We’re sending prayers and positive thoughts your way!!
HUGS!!!
getting goosebumps here at how close it is!!
yay!
Any day now!
BTW, we were able to use our Marathon from day one (mind you, Alexis was a moose at 9 lbs. 12 ozs.), but did find the infant seat to be more convenient early on. You know how much of a pain it is to pull them out of a seat when they are sleeping.
Woo hoo! Out a bit two days in a row. Take it easy. Pack the hospital bag a little at a time.
I’m so excited for you! The big question is…will someone be updating the blog after the baby is here or will we have to wait foreeeever to find out about Miss Tessa? 🙂
Good for you getting all that accomplished. The end (or the beginning really) is coming soon.
I prefer an infant seat at first myself, but when I start getting bruises on my legs from hauling it around, I know it is time to switch. Of course, at this point I own so many different carseats and booster seats, I could start my own baby store.

And who’s telling me to slow down, Mrs. Moneysaver & Homecooked Dinner?
Seriously, welcome those contractions! They are getting your body ready to go, and every one is a little less chance you’ll need a c-section.
I cannot wait!!! I am so excited for you Michelle!!!
That is SO exciting! I’m just wishing and hoping that everyone has happy healthy babies.
Ok…
Patiently waiting to see who the Doctor Appointment went… Especially after having a few contractions… ALL NIGHT~
Praying for you~!
Hugs
Ellie
