Sabrina decided that since I wouldn’t make her toasted cheese for breakfast, she would make her own.
Aunt Lulu and Uncle Pat gave Sabrina this ambiguous/imaginative toy for Christmas. It makes no noise, requires no batteries, and defies definition so it can truly be whatever the child wants it to be. Today it was a pan to cook toasted cheese. Many days it is a chair. Sometimes it holds puzzle pieces. It is pretty cool…it even sparks mommy’s imagination.
I’ll leave it to you. Am I a Fry Guy?
A lost cast member from Space Balls?
Or Mush Mouth’s sister?
Or as Gibb suggested, a scrubbing bubble?
Maybe I’ve gone too long without adult contact? Sabrina has had a cold so we’ve opted out of all activities this week.
I’m going for one of those “scrubbing bubbles” in the commercials. Lysol is it? I can’t remember.
M has one too, and loves for me to wear it as a helmet/mask. Always makes me think of the Fat Albert guy!
HILARIOUS!! I vote for Mush Mouth’s sister… but the scrubbing bubble is a close second! LOL!
LMAO
and where can I get one of those things?
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAA. You still have it.
Elizabeth has one of those in pink- we love it!!
I almost got Jack one for Christmas, but my hubby couldn’t figure out what it was. I think it’s a scrubbing bubble. Too funny!!
Becky and Jack
LMAO! Thank you! Thank was the best laugh I’ve had all week!
My vote is for the scrubbing bubble, that almost made me shoot coffee! Have a great weekend!
Hilarious!!
ROFL. Once again I find myself wishing I could come over and hang out with you. Wearing ambiguous toys on my head is one of my favorite things to do. Now add some spiked hot chocolate and it’s ON.
Too funny!
Thank you for vindicating me on the word “toasted”. Before reading this, I was beginning to think (and possibly dream because it’s been so long…) my family was the only one who used the terms “toasted cheese/toasted peanut butter sandwiches”! LOL, I thought we were freaks of nature or something, and for myself, long ago gave into the more popular (at least in MI) “grilled”.
I’m very happy to learn that this was not some figment of my childhood imagination…………as pathetic as this may seem.
Hope Sabrina is feeling better soon!
Definitely a scrubbing bubble. Michelle, I am thinking you may need to get out a bit more………:>)
The Fat Albert character was the first one I thought of when I saw the picture!
That is a great gift! You’re going to have to share where one finds such an item.
Ha Ha you are so funny!!! Too cute!
