Teaching my children to question authority, except mine.

Weren’t you listening?

May11

Do you ever feel like your GPS wants to say to you “Hey Dumbass, what part of LEFT don’t you understand?” instead of “Recalculating?”

Mine did go seemingly off script once. I had to detour around a closed road and when I got back on track it asked: “Are you feeling tired?  Do you need to stop and rest?”  I was all “Don’t judge me!”

I argue with my microwave on occasion too.

My weekend was legend-[wait for it]-ary.  I’ll be back later to tell y’all about it.

The entire drive north I felt like the stupid thing was saying that to me. It wanted us to take 95 all the way home, we did not. 2 hours of trying to recalculate us – dude TAKE A HINT!

The GPS and I often get into matches. Then, we you do take the wrong turn and it yelling at you to turn around it is almost worse than screaming children!!!

If my GPS said that to me it would be AWESOME! That would be so damn funny. If they programmed them that way I would drive around taking wrong turns just to hear what it would say.

I was using the GPS to help me find a place on CL in Madison. When it said to turn right on Skank, I about spit my pop all over the windshield. Come to find out it was Schenk (not pronounced Skank at all), but I decided if I lived near that street, I would program my GPS every day to get home just to hear that.

I change the accent on mine all the time too – rather, I change it on my husband’s to sound like some trampy lady so when he gets in the car with a client….

Hope you enjoyed your Mother’s Day weekend.
