Laissez les bon temps rollez!

March10

I had a little Zatarain’s House Party on Tuesday.  The girls enjoyed the left over favors.  And for those who have heard me talk about Tessa not cooperating for photos, this one was a rare fluke.  The next one in my camera was her taking off the mask and walking away.

Tessa had an ear and eye infection last week and is on her first ever antibiotics.  Sabrina still can’t hear following her ear infections 2+ weeks ago so I’m taking her back to the pediatrician tomorrow. And I will say this fast like pulling off a bandaid: THIS WEEK, I REGISTERED SABRINA FOR KINDERGARTEN. OMG! WTF? Excuse me for shouting and text speaking.  For those who have been reading here from the beginning, that might be as hard for you to read as it was for me to type.  I just don’t know where the time has gone.

Sigh – I know – how is it possible its Kindergarten time already? Ally will be in pre-k for a year (we have full day pre-k in our disctrict) and then regular kindergarten the year after. She has been in pre-school 6 hours a day for 2 years now, but somehow kindergarten seems like a much bigger step. Love the Mardi Gras fun!

Registering our babies for kindergarten is so painful!!! What did she think of it all!?!?

We just got the letter that our little Guate Guy was accepted into our “traditional” public school. He was so excited, and so was I, but still a bit sad!

Hannah missed the kindergarten cutoff last year by a few weeks, so she will turn 6 right after she starts in August. So I’ve had her home for an extra year, and it still sucks to think of her starting next fall. We are registering next week and I’m already in tears. And this year is already going by waaay too fast – someone slow it down!!

    LA LA LA LA LA!
    I can’t hear you!
    Sigh.
Kindergarten should be a 4 letter word.

Today it’s kindergarten tomorrow it’s highschool. So sad how fast it goes. I dread the years flying by. I remember when you first posted that you were going to live in Guatamala until Sabrina could come home. It really seems like yesterday!
