Christmas Wrap Up
Our trip home was wonderful. I miss being near our friends and family – I think even more now that Sabrina is home. We had dinner with my BFF and her husband. We had met up with a group of Steve’s friends. We spent a day in Ohio with my family and a couple of days in PA with Steve’s family. Sabrina loved being the center of attention and seeing all of the new faces again.
Sabrina was a huge fan of Pap-Pap.
She wasn’t sure what to make of the wrapped gifts but had fun digging things out of her stocking.
She wasn’t a fan of her new hat but the grown ups loved it.
We also thought her new ducky slippers were adorable.
Aunt Lulu was pretty smitten with little Sabrina.
Grandma had fun hanging out with Miss Sabrina too.
And Sabrina thought Uncle Pat was a hoot.
I’ve been cheating a bit on my bed rest the past couple of days. I picked my mom up at the airport yesterday and we went to Whole Foods today to pick up some fun stuff for dinner. I think I might even sneak out to a movie with my husband with this weekend (I’ll be sitting – does it matter if it is at home or in a theater with a big tub of popcorn?). I saw the doctor again today. Everything still looks fine. I had a moment of panic when I didn’t see the heartbeat on the ultrasound but my doctor magnified and pointed it out.
Miss Sabrina is too cute. She looks like she should be in an Anne Geddes photograph.
Still bedrest? Well try to relax and stay horizontal.
Happy Holidays!!!!!
She is ADORABLE in that red and white.
Try to relax as much as you can. I’d say sitting at a movie is fine, but no more grocery shopping until you’re cleared, ok???
Glad to hear all is still well!
Say hi to the doctor for me. (Your mom, not the other one. Although I admire the other one immensely for all he/she is doing to help you and little Smile be OK, it’s your mom that’s my inspiration these days.) I’m glad you all had a great Christmas!
yay! Sounds like a fun trip.
So do you know if they will eventually take you off of bedrest?
Keep trying to take it easy – but I would think that sitting at a movie wouldn’t be a big idea. 🙂
Wow, Sabrina is looking so beautiful!! And obviously LOVING celebrating Christmas with family – although who wouldn’t, when you are the star of the show? 🙂
Wishing you a happy healthy (don’t cheat TOO much on bed rest) New Year.
Ok, I will probably get booed and hissed here, but you know, when you are on a diet for a few weeks, days, whatever, you cheat “a little”. Well, I think you have done great on bed rest so a “little” cheating is ok. BUT, you should get back on the wagon after the movie! Deal? Sounds good to me.
Sabrina looks like she had fun!!
Sabrina is just so sweet! Love her ducky slippers!
Glad to hear all is well with belly baby. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!
SO happy to hear baby #2 is baking away nicely. And I think popcorn and a movie night out is just what the doctor ordered! 😉
Sabrina is so darn cute – I’m sure the family ate her with a spoon. I am also sure that when she and baby sister/brother are both here next Christmas your families will start working their Jedi mind tricks to get you back (if they haven’t already! LOL!)
Glad to hear everything is still going fine!! Looks like Sabrina had a fabulous Christmas! She is so adorable!!!!
Love the Sabrina pictures! Looks like a wonderful Christmas!
Love the adorable slippers! It looks like you had a wonderful Christmas…your first Christmas with your baby at home!
Be a good girl and REST. ; )
HAPPY NEW YEAR, dear family! God bless.
It looks like you had a wonderful time! Please rest though. Happy New Year!
so glad things are going welll:)
Glad grams is there to help out too –
a movie date night sounds like HEAVEN – how does your Mom feel about coming to visit strangers and babysitting for them to go to the moveis?? Like in NC????
