How many things are wrong with this picture?

This picture just disturbs me. Not because she is expressing milk – I understand that is a necessary thing. But this looks like a torture device and she is smiling, talking on her cell phone, and writing in her appointment book.
Yes, but it looks like she may be in a padded room so that could explain a lot!!!
Yeah I can just imagine trying to have a phone conversation over the sound of a pump. That would be lovely.
AND she appears to be doing it all while sitting in a portrait studio! Don’t you know that when the photo shoot was over, she was all “get this shit OFF of me and where the hell is my drink??”
Dude, I HAVE THAT THING! And yeah, the phone thing is definitely a bit much but that handsfree thing does rock. OH YES IT DOES!

AHH! The “pumping free”. The $30 accessory I could never justify b/c I was a SAHM who never wore a business suit. I just had JD wrap an ace bandage around me, so I could email or read while I was hooked up to the dreaded apparatus.
Mooooo.
I think if Madonna saw this picture, she would so use it to make a fashion statement.
But seriously, who doesn’t want an excuse to have 20minutes of quiet time (except for the pwoop, pwoop, pwoop of the pump) and not have to worry about multi-tasking?
I can just hear the conversation, “Honey – I just got called by my agent for a photo shoot!” “Oh, Baby, that’s wonderful, what’s it for.” “I’m not sure, but my agent said something about me being at work – on a phone – something – I’m sure it’s going to be great!!”

That picture always cracks me up! LOL I have even seen directions to make your own “hands free” by cutting up an old bra.
I hated pumping. Love breasfeeding, but the pumping not so much. So glad I could be a SAHM not have to worry about such devices. Much props to the pumping mamas!

Ok, that just brought back bad, bad memories. I breastfed the girls, but I wasn’t all mushy about it. It was a job. Gotta say, I like the bottle thing much better……..though despised mixing formula. It’s all just a job!
BUT, in the picture I was more focused on the flat tummy. Does that make your tummy flat too. HMMMMM Might have to try it. Krista says my belly is “doughy”!!

Must comment again. Seriously, the abs? And the fixed hair and makeup? And the ironed shirt? Where are the stains on her pants? And why does she look so well rested?
Perhaps that is why the photog used a model instead of a real mom!
I hope that model got paid a LOT for this horrifying photo. that is truly nightmarish.

I am loving the picture and the comments more!! It has been many years since I tried to pump and I can guran-damn-tee you that new mothers do NOT look like that while pumping… more like, pull the nipple through a funnel and try not to scream when you see it coming out the other end!!! And the noise of the pump?? The person at the other end of that phone line must wonder what that bwah mwah bwah mwah sound is…
