How flipping cool?!?
May 14th, 2008I won a video camera! How fun is that? Stephanie at Metropolitan Mama is always doing neat parenting topics and giving away neat products. For Mother’s Day she gave away one of these:
The Flip Ultra! And I won! I am so excited!
Camcorders are one of the few gadgets we don’t use in our house. We own one…we have just never known where the camera and the charging cord and the USB port cord (or whatever you plug into the computer to upload your videos) are at the same time. We had one brief summer that we used it on 1 vacation. I’ve never seen that video but I hear it still exists somewhere. If I want to take a quick video of Sabrina, I just use our digital camera. But now we will have the ability with this slick, tiny little camera to always be able to whip it out and record her so we can show it off to her prom date in 16 years.
Once I receive it, I’ll let you all know what we think of it.

How cool! I just bought one as my Mothers Day present to me, from me! I have it all put together and with batteries but have not used it yet! Everybody seems to love it! Can’t wait to see some cute Sabrina video soon! Congratulations on winning the contest… that is almost as exciting as the prize!

I have the plain Flip Video. I’ve had it for about 2 years now and LOVE IT. I mean love it love it love it. It’s what I do all of my vlogs on and such. I’d love to have a 2G pink Flip Ultra. More space. Mine only holds about 30 minutes. Best part is the built in programming.

I have this. I got it because I didn’t want to miss any of Gabriella’s “jibber jabber”. I carry it everywhere, now. I use it almost as much as my camera. You’ll love it!

Wow, that’s great. I was just looking at those online. Do let us know how it works and if you like it. I’m wondering if it’s easy to download the videos onto the computer. My current video camera is a bit of a nightmare that way.
