Snow day
December 13th, 2008We had a real snow fall on Thursday night – big fat flakes. It is weird because there is no snow removal equipment so the snow just stays on the road until it melts. There is no salt (apparently they use grit sometimes) pinging the undercarriage of the car. And people here can’t drive in the snow. We ventured about a mile from home and saw 4 cars in ditches.
Sabrina wasn’t sure what to think of her brief foray out in the snow.
The dog loves the snow.
Tessa was content to stay inside where is was warm.

That is amazing! We had NONE here in Bellevue. I thought Nashville Metro had lost their minds cancelling school… but I guess it really did snow in some parts. Hmmm. Who knew?!

We had some of this snow in New Orleans and although I was stuck in the airport in Houston over night I was thrilled to see the snow!! It rarely happens here!

No snow removal equipment?? Yikes!! I am sure Sabrina didn’t know what to do with it–and I am with Tessa. Stay inside where it is warm!! She is such a little cutie pie
