January 28th, 2010I snapped these with my phone while browsing Valentine’s Day cards at the pharmacy today. (Filling my prescription for yet another antibiotic. Yep. Strep. Again. The doctor was impressed with how swollen and “beefy” my tonsils and throat looked. He positively swooned over the number of pustules in my throat. Sexy, no?)
For the guy who wants to make it REALLY clear that the “L” word is not in play yet:
For the woman who will scare the bejeesus out of the guy above…she’s pushing for the “L” word to make an appearance and wants to start marking firsts together (really if your first “holiday” together is Valentine’s Day that means you weren’t together 6 weeks ago at Christmas so quiet down that biological clock honey):

Love the cards…makes me think way back when LMP (Love, Marriage and Pregnancy) were taboo words in our world.
What are you doing with strep again, my guess not getting enough rest…so curious since having small children is soooooo condusive to healthy sleeping and napping, hah!
I was going to send out the popcorn balls today, but sore throat and popcorn scratch do not sound like a good combo. I won’t call due to that whole pain in the throat speaking thing, but I am holding off on the Girl’s night reservation until you are up to having fun with it. Let me know if I am wrong or if you recover faster from strep than I do and I will get us reserved ASAP. Girl’s night will not be any more half-assed than is all ready guaranteed by our advancement in age from 25 to well…not 25, and our lack of alcohol tolerance that has been lost in those in between years. No sicko attempts at trying to keep up under strep recovery conditions, you used to be the stronger competition in drinking arenas than I. Actually, just give me a call when you are feeling better and I will set up whatever you like. Feel better, babe!

I love your sense of humor!!!! Can’t wait to read your post about that certain organization…….and the graduation pictures of the kids (since I haven’t seen them in a while:>))!!!
