What, besides sunshine and pretty fall leaves, is missing from this picture I took this morning?

Did you spot it? The For Sale sign is gone. And no, we didn’t sell the house. The move is off. We are staying. Steve will be home for good after the holidays. He will be working from home for his current employer and we will all live in the same zip code again. Such a huge relief to have a resolution after 7 months of limbo.

Is that good news or bad news? I mean, obviously, living together again is super great. But are you disappointed you will be away from your family? Has to be a bittersweet resolution.
Still, all in all, moving sucks. So I’ll go with you’re happy. So YAY!!! Happy Dance!

Sounds like a win-win. And, you get to keep that gorgeous house……..as long as you are happy with that!! All in the same zip code is a definite plus!!

Wow, that sounds good to me! I know how much the girls miss having their dad around, and you’ll obviously like not having to be the only parent (as well as having him for other reasons).
Working at home with others underfoot poses its own challenges (I work from home 3 days a week, with 3 dogs and a college student son who lives at home), but those challenges nothing compared to what you’ve just been through.

That must have been great news especially now that the holidays are here. Your husband will back and you won’t be a single mom anymore for the holidays (it is exhausting). Happy to hear life will be somewhat normal again!

This is wonderful news for you! Of course I’m sad that you won’t be moving to my neck of the woods, but a family in one zip code will be fabulous. I’m so glad that Steve’s employer is allowing this to happen for your family.

I can only imagine your relief 🙂 Living with so much up in the air is tough, let alone with a family being separated by so many miles. Not moving closer to extended family must be a big disappointment, though, so I’m sure it’s a little bittersweet. But what a happy Christmas you all will have – FINALLY all together for good!!
